E-Liquid FAQ's

50/50 E-liquids typically come in 10ml bottles, providing a balanced VG/PG ratio that delivers rich flavour due to the higher PG content. Their thinner consistency compared to high VG e-liquids makes them ideal for use with vape pod kits, vape pens, and MTL (mouth-to-lung) devices.

Shortfills are 0mg e-liquids that come in large bottle that feature space inside for nicotine shots. Due to TPD regulations in the UK, no e-liquid over 10ml can contain nicotine, so we add nicotine shots (or nic shots) to the liquid to create the desired mg strength.

Nicotine salts, or "nic salts," are derived from tobacco leaves and are known for providing a smoother throat hit and faster absorption than freebase nicotine. Nic salt e-liquids are popular because they allow vapers to use higher nicotine strengths, making them ideal for those who are in the early stages of vaping after quitting smoking.

Freebase nicotine is the original form used in e-liquids and has been a staple since the e-cigarette industry began. It is favored for its ability to deliver a satisfying throat hit, especially at lower nicotine levels compared to nic salts. Freebase nicotine is also very popular among vapers using larger sub-ohm kits designed for shortfill e-liquids.

Hybrid nicotine provides the best of both worlds, with a mix of 50% nicotine salt and 50% freebase nicotine. This combination addresses the issue of nic salts being too smooth at lower nicotine levels for some, and the strong throat hit of higher nicotine levels from freebase nicotine. This unique blend caters to all nicotine preferences.

Nicotine shots are 10ml flavourless e-liquids containing a high concentration of nicotine, usually 18mg. These are added to your shortfill e-liquid bottles to provide you with a larger bottle of nicotine based e-liquid.

PG and VG are the main components in any e-liquid.

Propylene glycol (PG) acts as the primary flavour carrier, while also thinning the e-liquid to make it suitable for smaller MTL and RDTL vape kits.

Vegetable glycerin (VG) is the thickener of e-liquids, and is what helps produce the thicker, denser clouds of vapour, best suited to sub ohm larger DTL vape kits ant higher VG levels.
