Vape Coils & Pods

Once the coil or pod wears out—usually after 1–3 weeks—it should be replaced to maintain flavour and performance.

Ohm (Ω) is a measure of a vape coil’s resistance. Lower resistance coils (below 1.0Ω) heat faster and produce more vapour—ideal for sub-ohm vaping and direct-to-lung (DTL) styles. Higher resistance coils (above 1.0Ω) produce less vapour and a tighter draw, making them better suited for mouth-to-lung (MTL)vaping and a cigarette-like experience.

For most pod systems,50/50 VG/PG e-liquids or nicotine salts work best. These provide a smooth throat hit, good flavour, and are ideal for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. If your pod supports lower resistance coils (around 0.6Ω or lower), you can also try higher VG e-liquids for more vapour—but always check your device’s coil compatibility first.

Vape coils and pods heat the e-liquid using a metal coil wrapped around a cotton wick. When you activate your device, the coil heats up, vaporising the e-liquid soaked in the wick to create flavoured vapour.
