Vape Hardware FAQ's
Nicotine salts, or 'nic salts' for short, are found within the tobacco leaf and are known for delivering a smooth and stable throat hit. Nic salt e-liquids are widely favoured by many as they offer vapers the ability to use higher nicotine strengths, ideal for those who are in the early stages of vaping from quitting smoking.
Freebase nicotine is the purest form of nicotine available in e-liquids. It is what has been used in e-liquids since its inception and is favoured by many for its ability to strengths while still having a satisfying throat hit. Freebase nic also popular for vapers using more powerful kits, as they can maintain a steadier dose of nicotine.
Shortfills are e-liquids that come in large bottle that feature space inside for a nicotine shot. Due to TPD regulations in the UK, no e-liquid over 10ml can contain nicotine, so we add a nicotine shot (or nic shot) to the liquid.
PG and VG are the main components in any e-liquid.
Propylene glycol (PG) acts as the primary flavour carrier, while also thinning the e-liquid to make it suitable for vape kits.
Vegetable glycerin (VG) is the thickener of e-liquids, and is what helps produce the thicker, denser clouds of vapour.
Nicotine shorts are 10ml flavourless e-liquids containing a high concentration of nicotine. These are added to your shortfill e-liquid bottles to provide you with a larger bottle of e-liquid with nicotine.
