The XROS Pro 2 is said to be the hottest new vaping device of 2025. We were intrigued, so we've whipped one out from the stock room and decided to see what all the hype is about, have they really improved on their last release? We had to find out.

Along with this new pod kit, Vaporesso have also released their latest addition to their range of replacement pods: the COREX 3.0 series, we'll be looking into these a little later on in this review also.

First Impressions

Our first impression when opening the box of this new vape kit was instant delight. The XROS Pro 2 is slim, lightweight and feels comfortable in the hand, so far so good. The screen is bright and crisp, it has a real premium, high-end and sophisticated feel about it.

Something that has really stood out for us with this device, is the 2000mAh internal battery; it can be so frustrating when you get halfway through your day to find you only have 20% battery left in your vape, well not anymore! We definitely overused this vape for the first couple of days of testing it and the battery just kept on going. This is partially thanks to its Super Pulse feature, which adjusts the power delivery according to your battery level, which provides a longer battery life while retaining a smooth, consistent hit every time.

Build Quality

When we heard the XROS Pro 2 features a 65g magnesium-alloy body, our first thought was 'is this just going to break easily?' as it's rare to find a vape that's light and durable; fortunately, we were very impressed as the XROS Pro 2 retains a premium, almost luxury feel, while weighing next to nothing. This is a real testiment to Vaporesso's dedication to research and development, they really are pushing the boundaries and setting the standard for this space.

COREX 3.0 Pod Technology

It's always an interesting time when new pods release, we've already set expectations of what we expect, so when a new pod enters the market, how's the flavour? Do the pods last as long? Is there any leaking? Fortunately, we're pleased to announce that the COREX 3.0 pods are a huge improvement from the past! Their new hive-mesh structure means a richer flavour, more consistent delivery and an overall better experience. 

User Experience

Overall, this device ticks all the right boxes. It's light, durable, premium and provides a smooth and enjoyable vaping experience. The 2000mAh battery means it lasts all day and sometimes even longer, there's little difference between a hit on 90% battery and a hit on 30% battery, it's so consistent! The XROS Pro 2 also offers Smart & eco modes which boast further battery-saving benefits. We also love that you can track your past 7 days usage, ideal for when you're looking to control how much you're vaping from day-to-day. It charges in 30 minutes from dead battery and the pods last much longer.

Is It Worth Buying The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2?

Absolutely! We don't have a bad thing to say about this device, everything from build quality to performance and aesthetics, they've hit the nail on the head with this stunning new pod vape kit. We're highly impressed with the new COREX 3.0 pod technology as we really didn't hink Vaporesso could do any better than the COREX 2.0, but once again, they've exceeded our expectations.
